Gulp Technician home visit protocol for the Coronavirus


All of our technicians and staff are aware of the current HSE guidelines relating to the Coronavirus. We all wish to keep  a sense of normality in our day to day however your safety and the safety of our employees is our main concern.


Our activities will remain compliant with the ever changing situation relating to this unprecedented set of circumstances.

The following are the principal points relating to our customer visits.

All technicians will observe the directives outlined by the HSE.

On arrival and departing your home technicians will wash & dry their hands with their own soap & paper towel.

Alternatively technicians will put on a fresh set of gloves before they enter your home and dispose of them when they leave.

Our technicians will look to maintain a safe distance (minimum 2 meters)  to avoid any possibility of transmission.

After the technician is let into your home please feel free to let the technician work alone and leave when their work is completed.

If you wish please request a call from the technician when they are outside and you can leave the door open for them.

For any special requirements please do not hesitate to ask, no offence will be taken.

The technician will not request a signature on completion for the service at this time.

For customers who have not pre-paid, Gulp have a contactless method of payment through an online app, however, traditional methods of payment are still available.

Technicians will self-isolate if they show any symptoms of Covid-19 at any time.
