Water Purification

Water Purification

In Ireland we are in breach of tap water quality regulations on a regular basis..Nowadays with advances in technology, we no longer have to accept inferior quality water containing impurities such as metals, chemicals, bacteria, oestrogen, nitrates, fluoride and chlorine. We can choose the quality and purity of the water we drink, just as we select other healthy lifestyle options.

By introducing a simple system into our home, we can now have crystal clear, excellent quality water in our homes 365 days a year.

The water that is supplied to residents and businesses in Ireland comes from different sources, such as lakes, rivers, streams, springs and boreholes and is treated to make it safe for human consumption.

The water we use for flushing our toilets has the same quality requirement as the water we drink and cook with!

As there is a huge volume of water to treat, the objective is to treat water with chemicals to ensure it is safe for consumption, as opposed to providing high quality water for drinking and cooking.

Have a look at this video about the effects of chlorine in our water. Chlorine is very effective in sterilising water in large quantities however it is not healthy to drink.
